Actions
In addition to the standard Indigo Thermostat Plugin Actions, the plugin provides a number of Custom Actions for further querying and controlling the ColorTouch Thermostat.
- Warmer: No parameters. Simulates pressing the “Warmer” button on the touchscreen. In Auto mode, increases both temperature setpoints by one degree. In Heat mode, increases the Heat To setpoint by one degree. In Cool mode, increases the Cool To setpoint by one degree. In Off mode, does nothing.
- Cooler: No Parameters. Simulates pressing the “Cooler” button on the touchscreen. In Auto mode, decreases both temperature setpoints by one degree. In Heat mode, decreases the Heat To setpoint by one degree. In Cool mode, decreases the Cool To setpoint by one degree. In Off mode, does nothing.
- Set Specific Operating Mode: Six (6) parameters: System Mode, Fan Mode, Heat To setpoint, Cool To setpoint, Humidify setpoint, and Dehumidify setpoint. This is a very powerful, flexible Action. It can be used to change any combination of the thermostat’s six main operating parameters at once. For either of the two Mode parameters, choose a new Mode or “No Change” from the pop-up menu. For each of the setpoints, enter enter a new value or enter -1 for no change.
- Set To Away: No parameters. Simulates pressing the AWAY button on the touchscreen. Places the thermostat in “Away” mode; only available if the thermostat is currently in “Home” mode.
- Set To Home: No parameters. Simulates pressing the HOME button on the touchscreen. Places the thermostat in “Home” mode; only available if the thermostat is currently in “Away” mode.
- Change Schedule Mode: One (1) parameter: Schedule Mode. From the popup menu, choose “None (Off)” to turn off any running schedule, choose “Onboard” to run the thermostat’s onboard (built-in) schedule, or choose a Custom Schedule Folder from the Custom Schedule Folders List to enable the Indigo Schedules therein. - Add Schedule Folder To List: One (1) parameter: Schedule Folder. Add the selected Custom Schedule Folder to the Custom Schedule Folders List. Custom Schedule Folders added to the List will subsequently be available in the popup menus for the Change Schedule Mode, Remove Schedule Folder From List, and Move Schedule Folder Within List Actions. - Remove Schedule Folder From List: One (1) parameter: Schedule folder. Removes the indicated Custom Schedule Folder from the Custom Schedule Folders List. See Custom Schedules, for more information.
- Move Schedule Folder Within List: Two (2) parameters: Schedule Folder, new index. Moves the indicated Custom Schedule Folder to a new position in the Custom Schedule Folders List. The first position is index 0. See Custom Schedules, for more information.
- Change Humidify Setpoint: Two (2) parameters: change mode, change value. Select “Change to” or “Change by” from the popup menu. Then enter a change amount; a new Humidify setpoint value if you chose “Change to”, or an amount by which to change the current Humidify setpoint (positive or negative) if you chose “Change by”.
- Change Deumidify Setpoint: Two (2) parameters: change mode, change value. Select “Change to” or “Change by” from the popup menu. Then enter a change amount; a new Dehumidify setpoint value if you chose “Change to”, or an amount by which to change the current Dehumidify setpoint (positive or negative) if you chose “Change by”.
- Set Temp Units To Fahrenheit: No parameters. Change the reported temperature units to Fahrenheit.
- Set Temp Units To Celsius: No parameters. Change the reported temperature units to Celsius.
- Update Alerts: Queries the thermostat for Alerts status, and updates the Indigo Server. See Alerts, for more information.
- Update Runtimes: Queries the thermostat for the most recent Runtime Data, and updates the Indigo Server. See Runtime Data, for more information.
- Update External Runtimes Log: Queries the thermostat for the most recent Runtime Data, updates the Indigo Server and the optional log file. See Runtime Data, for more information.
- Update Sensors: Queries the thermostat for the most recent Sensor Data, and updates the Indigo Server. See Sensor Data, for more information.
